Saulius Baradinskas
Director
In 2013, Saulius completed his architecture studies at the Vilnius Academy of Design. While still studying, he founded the Vilnius Temperature project, with which launched his first audiovisual documentaries featuring Lithuanian musicians on the streets of Vilnius. His audiovisual works have already garnered more than 35 million views on YouTube.
In 2017, Saulius filmed his debut short film “Golden Minutes” (Lith. “Auksinės Minutės”). Its world premiere took place at the San Francisco International Festival of Short Films, where the film won a special jury prize for a taking new look at cinema (Vanguard Award). The following year, the film “Bring the Independence Back” (Lith. “Grąžinti Nepriklausomybę”), presented in collaboration with Oleg Šurajev, made it into the Top Five most profitable Lithuanian films. The same year, Saulius was recognised as the best music video director and received the Best Music Video of the Year award for a music video he created for the song “Indai” by the band Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys.
He also directed “Techno, Mama”, which won the Silver Crane Award for Best Short Film 2022.
